The MESR-100 V2 auto-ranging capacitor ESR and low Ohm meter measures a range from 0.001 to 100.0R, supporting in-circuit testing. Using a true 100 kHz sine wave to measure the ESR value, which is equivalent to the testing method used by capacitor manufacturers, this device is designed to measure the series resistor inside the capacitor. By using 100 kHz to remove the impedance 1/(2πF*C), the impedance becomes smaller, allowing for the accurate measurement of the true series resistor value. This enables the user to determine whether the capacitor is in good or bad/damaged condition.

The MESR-100 V2 features the following capacitance value refresh times: - 0.000 to 1.000R: 1%+2 Digit, 0.4s - 1.000 to 10.00R: 1%+1 Digit, 0.4s - 10.00 to 100.0R: 2%+1 Digit, 0.4s

Note: The Capacitance Meter is used for testing the internal resistance of the capacitor, not for testing capacitance value.

The device is powered by 2 AA 1.5V batteries (not included) and has a battery life of over 80 hours. The package includes 1 Capacitance Meter, 2 Test Clips, 1 SMD Clip, and 1 User Manual.

Our capacitance ESR meter applies less than 15mV DC or peak-to-peak on a good capacitor, allowing for in-circuit testing. The copper plating on the surface provides anti-corrosion and oxidation resistance. The dual terminals enable fast and easy inspection of the internal resistance of the capacitor, and a printed ESR table is provided for quick reference.

During the repair of TVs, LCDs, audio boards, and other electronic devices, this meter can be used to test whether the capacitor is in good or bad condition while it is still in the circuit.

The MESR-100 V2 has a wide measurement range of over 1uF and an accuracy of up to 1%. The measuring voltage is less than approximately 40mV RMS, and it is powered by a 5V micro USB external power source with an operating current of 0.02A.
