How to Use the Inserts: 1. For 1/4" O.D. tubes, use inserts 1 & 2. 2. For 5/16" O.D. tubes, use insert No. 2. 3. For 3/8" O.D. tubes, do not use inserts 1 & 2.

Easy Installation: Before installing the valve, ensure the special compound seal O-ring is properly positioned. 1. Place both halves of the valve on the tube with the appropriate insert. 2. Install the three socket head screws and tighten them evenly. 3. To pierce the line, turn the valve stem clockwise using a hex wrench.
